Does she have the deepest chick voice ever, or not?

I've been listening to a lot of Velvet Underground lately and goddamn. Her voice may be deeper than mine.

Strongly disagree. She wasn't the best part either, but she's certainly better than Doug and Billy Yule.
The VU songs she sang lead on were all great. I can't imagine Lou singing a better All Tomorow's Parties (which was Andy Warhol's favourite VU song) or a sweeter I'll Be Your Mirror.

Certainly still worth checking out. What's wrong with a band with a female singer?

The album she sang (part) lead on, The Velvet Underground & Nico, is a classic. Quite lo-fi, lyrically extreme and explicit and the template for modern (alternative) rock.
