We found be able to get to see each other in the summer...her parents like me; basically let her live in my hotel room and complained a little about spending so much on a hotel...so they might be willing to let me stay with them if I go which would just make it so much cheaper and easier to see eachother

Not really; the fees for Non-EU students are pretty insane here mainly because the majority get it free...
