then the al can ditch the dh. it shouldnt be there anyway.

players getting paid millions should be able to field. if david ortiz cant field, take him out of the lineup. its not that tough to field.

if anything should be abolished its the stupid all star game deciding homefield.

Schilling got through the 1st inning, but he didn't throw anything above 90 mph to Pujols or Rolen. Something to watch.

good: cardinals are hitting the ball hard off schilling.

bad: theyre losing 2-0 and i hate life.

Dammit.

Those errors didn't lead to any runs, but they might force Schilling out an inning early.

series is pretty much over too.

History would tend to disagree with you.

Not only that, but just look at what happened in the ALCS.

Keep in mind you're playing BOSTON. It isn't even over if it's Game 4, Bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, Boston leading the series 3-0 and the game 14-0 and a grounder is leaving the 2nd baseman's hand towards 1st base for the final out.

And besides, you were damn sure a couple hours ago that Boston wouldn't win a single game in St. Louis.

yes because i was feeling good and trying to feel better about this series.

now when you can only score 1 run through 6 innings when the other team has made four errors...

then youre not in for a good run.

Teams that have gone up 2-0 have won the World Series 77% of the time.

Sounds impressive, until you do the math. If each game is considered a 50-50 proposition, then a team that goes up 2-0 should win 81% of the time.
