As someone earlier pointed out, DMB and Pearl Jam automatically cancel each other out in the first round. With that the case, the only way to explain their numbers are that massive amounts of their fans must be voting repeatedly. And we all know that both bands have a HUGE internet fanbase.
Also, the structure of the test is unfair. Who gets knocked out when is related to positioning on the list. For example, the Foos are my 2nd favourite band on the list, but because they come up with U2 in an early round, they're knocked out early, for me.
I'm just chalking it up to a poorly structured, meaningless, invalid internet poll.
