Since it's so slow tonight, I give you the story of (long-winded)Bbug's discovery of the MPS...
It was a cold, bleary weekend morning. The kind of morning when the school cafeteria doesn't open until 11 or so, for brunch. A famished Beebs awoke around 9, 2 whole hours before her alarm was supposed to rouse her. She grumbled angrily, and tried in vain to think of ways to pass the time. Walk to Dunkin' Donuts? No, it was far too cold, and she far too broke, to make that journey. Talk to someone from her floor? No, they were all still sleeping. Do Spanish homework? HA! not likely. She took a shower, made faces in the mirror for a while, and checked her email. Still over an hour left. Disgruntled, she ventured into PLEBA, curious as to whether or not her registration had yet been processed...it had not...but wait, what was this thread? Who were these marvellous, martini-swilling creatures? Beebs had to know more. She followed the link to the previous segments. She watched with awe as they transformed from angel to phisto to human, fell in and out of love, suffered horrific injuries, got married...and then she realized that she had missed brunch.
Comforting herself with a slew of curse words, Beebs bounded over to the elevator like some kind of enraged (though petite) gorilla, confident that at 1:30 pm, she could at least find herself an open grocery store with an ATM and buy some food. When she got home, she checked eagerly for updates.
...which basically brings us to the present
