Edge is using a wah pedal on the Vertigo version (a Dunlop 535Q to be exact). Listen to Edge's guitar when it comes back in with the main riff on version one on the Chicago DVD. You can hear the wah and watch him using it.
 
i agree...i liked it on the elevation tour best actually! :wink:

I hope this hasnt been posted before and im sorry if ive put this in the wrong thread but am i the only one who thinks The Fly sounds crap on this tour, it just sounds so weak, especially Edges solo which is to me one of the greatest guitar solos on record. Havent heard the Live ZOO TV versions but would love to know your views.
 
this was a good question because i have gone back and forth on which one i liked better. the intro to The Fly on elevation was very cool, but i like the Chicago one a lot too.

bottom line is The Fly is ONE FRIGGEN great song
