PA outro music: It's The End Of The World As We Know It.

hi!

i attended the magic Gothenburg show last year, and as we walked out of the stadium, i recognised some familiar lyrics "that's great it starts with an earthquake..." and i realized it was the R.E.M. song It's The End of The World (As We Know It), BUT it wasn't the original version.

it was a completely different arrangement, a female voice sung very quietly and quite a beautiful version.

i bought the Eve record as i saw she had covered the song on one of her records, but no, that wasn't the right version.

anyone who can help me out???

It's by Julee Cruise, can't remember what album it's on though sorry.

after searching through Julee Cruise's catalouge (which didn't feature the song on any of her albums), i finally found the track on a compilation called Hed Kandi: Winter Chill 06.02.
