Have fun! Stay safe!
Don't forget to share a photo or two once you've reset for the season.

Happy 103rd Finland Independence Day!

Some very nice cinematography there!

That was a real funny Finnish Scotch commercial!!! Thanks!
"For that one special day - Summer" Bwaaahahhhahaaaaa!

Not a Whiskey, or Scotch Whiskey person.
I do like the taste of Bourbon - which I looked up and found out that the corn portion of
of the mash is just a little over 50% which gives it it's distinctive taste - the mild ?sweetness.

And suddenly my memory popped up with (I may have seen them recently seen them in a specialized regular and gourmet and homemade prep foods) with - Finncrisps. The first whole grain cracker I ever ate - like 45+ years ago. .

---------------------
How's ice fishing going?

The Aurora B dipped for her south but not quite enough for NYC to see. We were just a little inside the the southern most curce of the AB circle. Not even near the pale green to let alone full green center area. Ah, well. Sun spots are in the upswing cycle now...so maaaybe in the next year or 2-3.

If you return here - How r u?

BTW for 3 summers (but not this past one) in a row we had a young seal hang out in the little bay at the northernmost tip of Manhattan Island for 3 summers. I even was able to take photos one time! So cool.

That was a pretty cool visual set up.

And how's the ice fishing been going?

How's the weather in your area Ms Purrl?
We've had a lot of snow this Feb.

Hi, dazz! We had quite a bit of snow in February, too, including a 15-inch one a couple of weeks ago. It has all melted now (except for the big dirty piles in parking lots--my mother used to say it was hanging around waiting for more). I got my first covid jab on February 4 and will get my second on March 8. MrPurrl got his first one yesterday and will get his second on April 1. I am SO looking forward to the days that my family members are all vaccinated and we can get together again. I have a sister and a brother in the same town I live in, and haven't seen them for a year now. Got to see our other sister in October, a dolphin's length apart on the beach on Sanibel Island, Florida. And I got to see my son a week ago when he brought some groceries over for us. Still didn't get to hug him, though. This has definitely been a rough year. Sure hope you are doing well!
