Bono in Claremont, CA last night...

My friend and I went to where Bono was to speak last nite in Claremont (I flew to and from- hoping for the best- no ticket, etc.)-

We got there and the venue was basically a college theater. Here are some pre-show pics-

Bono soon arrived- and met with the small group of enthuisiastic fans that gathered near a barricade. He immediately came over and started signing autographs, posing for pictures, chatting, hugging, etc...-

The crowd arrives for the speech and filled the venue. We were standing outside for a while hoping to at least maybe hear his speech, when my friend goes and talks with the staff at the ticket window after everyone filed in. They let us in for free and in we were! Bono gave a very enthusiastic speech and the crowd was very receptive. There was a Q and A session also with pre-selected questions. It was great to see Bono speak in this kind of setting.

After the presentation we went back to where he had entered- and he came out and signed again, although for a lot less time. He hopped in his vehicle and was whisked away, as he had another speech today in Las Vegas-

Bono could not have been any nicer to the students/ fans/ crowd. Here are some pictures of what we got signed-

It was a very short but great trip- thanks to the great guest of honor and the staff of the school for hosting the event...

The photo of Bono with the little girl is adorable!
 
This man is a total darling...he is so patient...even though he gets mobbed with people eveywhere he goes...he still poses for shots and is kind to people...This is why he is loved so dearly by young and old , men and women all over the world...He is just brillianto...I love him to pieces...:angel: :applaud: :camera: :pray: :rockon: :flirt:
 
I am wondering if anyone else out there went to Claremont and has pictures?????

Claremont

Hi u2jesusgirl,

thanks very much for Your pictures, I 'm sending you below my pictures, all pictures ( Bono&me) was taken by me girlfriend after Bono speech - when he was leaving, before his speech I got only two good pictures ( Bono signing fans ) because there was problem with my camera.

this one was taken after speech, for a minute there was only three person :) when people went out building - Bono saw it and escaped immediatelly to his car :)

It was very funny when crowd saw that Bono is still by his car , than Bono realise that he is not able to sign more and he ...:)
