I've checked the BPI site but I can't find the 3xp for ATYCLB. Only the 2xp on 15-12-00, the same day.

Oh yeah, that's the wrong date. It is definitely 3xP though. I have editions of MusicWeek which show it to be. It was certified in 2001/02 - not sure which, i'll have to check. BPI site has loads of missing certs.

Also, MusicWeek March 12th 2005 edition reported total UK sales to date of 1,083,169. & it then had another 9 week run on the Top 100/200 (through the rest of 2005)...which is partly why i estimate its sold another 32k since.

Could ATYCLB be certifited 3xp on 16-3-01? On that day Achtung Baby and Best of 80-90 were also certifited.

No, not according to that week's edition of MusicWeek (& i just re-checked it to be sure). Was still 2xP that week.

Can you search for the exact week it was 3xp?

I didn't actually get the Mar 24th to Jul 14th 2001 editions of MusicWeek. I might be able to find them sometime though.

The BPI has updated his website and it shows that U218 singles has been certified platinum on fri 8-12-06.

But I believe it's stil incomplete. It should be 2xp already in January. And ATYCLB definetely is 3xp but that's not shown.

Feb 3rd edition of MusicWeek first showed the 2xPlatinum cert for U218. I think albums most often get certified on the Friday so exact date of certifiation was probably Frid 26th Jan.

Checked the BPI site again and 18 singles is indeed 2xp at Friday 26 Januari.

Now they have to update ATYCLB.
