Okay I have been a busy bee lately with writing my poetry so I decided instead of writing all of the works I have done lately I will just write the titles and then if you want to know what one of poems is like then you must leave a reply asking for the poem you want me to write out k. No Friends

You say you have friends
I say I dont
When will I be giving the chance to show
the ways of friendship

No one ever talks to me
I am just lonely so you see
Can?t you see the hurt that is
inside of me?
I try to explain my situation but
nothing comes with this hesitation

No friends for me to be seen
when will I have some to
share my world with

Joy is so hard for me to see
The world around me is turmoil
all I think about is my own pain
I wish I could be washed down a drain

Maybe that is why there are no friends for me

Under blankets of Stars

Many thoughts come to me
as I lay under blankets of stars
What will my life bring for me?
Who will want to share it with me?
I wonder about the endless possibilities that
lay before me

I turn to my side and see you lying there
beside me
Is it true that I have finally found you?
Where did you come from and will you stay?
Under blankets of stars I gaze into my lovers
face

I feel you arms around me so tight and comforting
The nights under blankets of stars seem to last
forever
I wish I could stay like this with you gently kissing me
and whispering sweet things in my ear

Silence

In the silence I hear my heart beating, time slippin' away
I try to grab the memories that wont stay
Looking around for something to create sound
I just want to erase all that has been done
so that it wont replay in my mind again
All I hear is silence no sound
I try to listen for footsteps on the ground
in hopes that you might've be found

I know I must face the emptiness of this place
How can I when all I hear is silence intead of sound
I remember the nights we used to dance in each others
arms and you hold me to let me hear your hearbeat
All that greets me now is silence

Down by the Creek

I remember our adventures down by the creek
those hot summer days allow for us to get away
Mom would always tell us to looking out for Ivy
Skippin rocks and the rope swing were always
our favorite thing

Do you remember the day when the bum
came our way, I was so scared I ran
away as fast I could

Until I reach the house and yelled Mom there is
a bimbo chasing us, you laughed you hard because
It was all a trick to get me to go home

Down by the Creek, I remember thoses days down by the creek.

Fighting for my breath
it feels like sippin quick sand
Fighting for my strength
I feel steel bars on my arms
Fighting for my sight
wheres the light of your love?
Fighting for Everything makes me weak
and I just want to live without fighting

Fighting for my voice
I am muffled and shy but I want you know my song
Fighting for my hearing
Sound brings the love of another to the heart of me
Fighting for my mind
Sometimes I wonder when I will be able to show my wisdom
Fighting for Everything makes me want to give up
on that I have been blessed with

Fighting for my love
Someday someone will know my love
Fighting for my body
I am beautiful no matter what others say

Fighting for everything is all that I seem to do

all of us running around
like a chicken lose on the ground
No where to run nowhere to hide
just the crack of down inside

Crack of down
comes from the underground
swimming around in the heat of sound
like so alligator on the hound

Escaping is not the answer
just try to run faster
Crack down

i love that you took a spelling mistake and made it art.
it turned out to be a wonderful poem.

this line is really great, "swimming around in the heat of sound."
