Hey...I know this may soudna bit like stolen!! But I really felt like writing this, after seeing a report of what's happening with little kids in Cambodja!! No way I can keep my mouth shut on that!1 So..this is it!! What I feel...When I Look at the World

When I look at the world
I'll tell you what I see
I see people mean and selfish
Pretending not to be
I see hate and sadness
When kids are trying to forget
The toys they should be playing with
While they build their own regret

So I try to reach one hand
To believe in something else
But there's no more I can stand
I can't even help myself
When I look at the world

When the news are too truly
And war is so hard to believe
When people fight, kill and steal love
For some goal to achieve
I see empty hearts
And lost souls passing me by
Ignoring what's around us
Living inside a lie

And I try to find some peace
To erase the evil things
Hope can't shine upon your face
This is what the future brings
When I look at the world

Love
Tania

Awesome! I have some poems of how the world is cruel! Great even with his bitterness. I believe in the end LOVE with rule over terrible evil! :)

Here is a poem of mine called "Overloading on the Bittersweet" if anyone is interested...

I am really trying to make a point here
By letting out my sadness, madness, and fear

I am on overloading on the bittersweet
And I am starting to think it is neat

Robbery, sexual abuse, killing...
Oh, God help us!!

Do you understand my point about evil stuff?
Evil things make this bittersweer world go puff

People die each day but we careless each day
God wants us to care more even our sad dismay

I want more peace so I'm overloading on the bittersweetness
Of the world so people get why they need a bitter less kiss

Sorry if is too depressing... I love happy poems the most!
