pulled apart
my heart
reason is useless
throw logic out the window
my heart can beat both
figures
i know it's juvenile
i know it's a dead end road
by my heart is stupid
blind
lacking the logic my mind
is oozing with
it endlessly walks into
walls and
traps
i keep saying
"that path is pain"
but it's deaf too
listens only to the call of love
even the slightest whisper
well, heart
i won't follow you anymore
you don't realize the pain
until it's too late
then the numb feeling wears off
then you're stuck with the pain
i can't follow you again
your road leads to distruction
and you know what?
logic must win
just this once
