Its a song:

Black man sitting on a corner street
Sweating his ballad so bitter sweet
Gets me a little emotional
Blonde girl shaking those hips
Gazing at me and licking her lips
Oh my I think I'm in love

From the golden hills of California
To the New York City's blinking harbors
You'll find me swimming with the sea
And someday on the silver screen
I'll be making everybody scream
But even that won't set me free

You've got to show me that your love is a rocket...
And I'll show you the colors in my pocket
Cause all you need is a litle harmony
And you can all sing with me...
La La La La with the colors in my pocket

Tangerine sun blazing so high
With these Nike Airs I'm like a bird in flight
And thats my perfect afternoon
Summertime is getting near
I'm still very unclear
Where I will be running to

I'll read Kerouac from cover to cover
If it helps me to be a better lover
Then use it as a pick-up line
Cause I believe in the Renaissance
And Shakespeare's mushy sonnets
But I won't let it lead my life

Cause all you need is a little harmony
And you all can sing with me...
La la la la la with the colors in my pocket

The road I've taken I can't be sorry
That its not filled with lush green valleys
Hey I may not even make it there
Along the way I might have sinned
But at least I'll be flying in the right wind
And I know that someone will care

Cause all you need is a little harmony
And you all can sing with me...
La la la la la with the colors in my pocket

Color me and I'll color you
Color me and I'll color you

I wrote this while I was living in Illinois dreaming of moving to New York City. I made it here! I needed some new colors cause the only color in northern Illinois is the color of boring. No offense to the natives.

Wow! Wonderful poetry, you truly know how to use language to paint in colours..
I really wanna hear all these songs
