A crooked look, blind mans book
Beggar’s plea, a lover’s leap
Thousand guns ring when she sleeps
Thoughts of glory, her untold story
She wears her smile like a crutch
Promises never mean all that much
Mothers weeping, secrets keeping
Broken bleeding, time is fleeting
Frozen eyed smiles, untouched miles
Warn out sky, realities high
Bigger sticks, heavier stones
Orders from men on broken thrones
Tough not to cry, better run away hide
Under the cover, close your eyes tight
Eternal midnight doesn’t seem right
Cut through wire, your egos fire
At your side illusion he grins
In his game no one ever wins
