Polish Radio will be playing bits of NLOTH

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

Thanks for the info! I've never heard these guys before but that song sounded straight out of the 80s...wow. I'm hooked! I grew up in the 80s and this sounded like a complete flashback.

Kim and Jessie......downloading now:)

At least the music on this station seems listenable and not torture waiting to see if they actually do play a few tracks :)

well, for me 'trójka' is one of the best radio stations in poland.

btw, when did they play Native Son? I ask because I've found this:

mówią the flaming lips i snow patrol

u2 – get on your boots

franz ferdinand – what she came for

m83 – kim & jesse

friendly fires – skeleton boy

morrissey – i’m throwing my arms around paris

marianne faithfull – sex with strangers

red guitars – good technology

white lies - death

ting tings – standing in the way of control

blur – berserk

florence and the machine – dog days are over

20.00

pj harvey – sheela na gig
in session:

black twang – nah i ain’t done

black twang – so hard

darren hayman & the secondary modern - pram town
julian velard – jimmy dean & steve mcqueen

the flaming lips – space bible with volume lumps

the flaming lips – once beyond hopelessness
marianne faithfull - solitude

21.00

blur – popscene

the days – no ties
passion pit – sleepyhead

tv on the radio – family tree

snow patrol – if there’s a rocket tie me to it

snow patrol – crack the shutters

u2 – native son

so what - nothing but GOYB and Native Son? :hmm:

That "setlist" looks all wrong.... I don't know where you got it, but it's not in order and I don't think some of those songs were even played.

I know this is off topic but if you like 80's influence synth music I would really recommend Cutcopy In Ghost Colors if you haven't heard it yet.

Oh wow....listening to it now. Thanks for this! It's great when you can discover new music so spontaneously and love it.

This Polish station is pretty good. Bookmarked. Now all we need is some NLOTH!

But the DJ DID say the word Magnificent, for God knows what reason.

maybe they are going to play it later:hmm:

[I wasn't listening when he said that. I would translate it and tell you what he was saying. But I've totally forgotten about that event.]

Radio stations - especially obscure ones in Poland - don't have copies of the album to play until after it leaks, imo. I don't think they have anything.

This is decent music though....somebody walked in to the room and said what the hell are you listening too cause of the language though haha

maybe they don't. but you don't have a right to call the place where I live 'obscure'.
