Some nights ago I watched "City of angels".

The movie is not exactly a GOOD one but it has got a great soundtrack (U2, Goo goo dolls, Alanis Morrisette....)

Anyway, at a certein part Hemingway's book "A movable feast" appears.

I started reading it yesterday. It deals with memories about Hemingway's life in Paris!

Is there some one who can write something about this book and his context?

I can't say much about "A Moveable Feast". I never could get into Hemingway.

The movie, however is a remake, of Wim Wender's films "Wings of Desire" and "Faraway, So Close". These two movies are much deeper, with a bigger emphasis on emtions of the characters. "City of Angels" pales in comparison.

At the time, I just couldn't find anything in it that pulled me in, or anything they I could relate to. Then again, it's been a long time since I've tried to read any Hemingway.

When was Faraway released? What's it about? Isn't the girl in the Faraway, So Close video the daughter of the director of that movie...or am I smoking crack?

maybe the movie was released in 1993... can't remember well.

I don't think the girl in the video is Wim's daughter. Who told you that?
