What was U2's best fourth single from an album?

City of Blinding Lights was Bomb's third single.

In the US at least I'm pretty sure it was the fourth, after Vertigo, ABOY, and Sometimes.

In terms of song quality, Please by far. However, I don't think it was the best choice for a single. I think Gone would have made a better single.

EBTTRT, COBL, and Walk On were the best choices for fourth singles. IGC and AIWIY are close too. Amazingly even U2's fourth singles are awesome

U2's fourth single has been better than their first single on occasion. That will certainly be the case with NLOTH.
