Totally Clueless about new album

Usually when the new album comes out I know all about it, every news snippet, any kind of pre-mature previews, etc.

But now life has become so busy I barely have had time to look at anything about the new album. Don't know what it's about what the progress is when it'll be released, so on and so forth. So I was hoping someone could give me a break down of what's really going on with U2 and bring me up to date?
