A few random thoughts:

"With You or Without You" is the only U2 single I don't especially care for.

"October" is their most under-rated album.

Bono is very talented, but also enigmatic: He seems self-important and self-sacrificing, both at the same time.

The group should be celebrated not only for their talent, but for their tasteful approach to creating music (note the lack of sexual innuendo and debauchery that is so common in rock lyrics), and their social conscience.
