So? Isn't my happiness worth something?

Of course'..

I'd have the best concert buddy and I'm sure I'd see a lot more shows than I already have !

Guess you're a Foreigner fan or was it the fact I went to Rick Springfield last week!?!

:yuck: to Springfield

Foreigner & Def Leppard, sure. I was a fan back in the early 80s and had a crush on Joe Elliot. Had excellent seats at that show I believe. I can't remember if I saw Foreigner  I wanted to see Paul Rodgers last week, but really didn't have anyone to go with (again!), and it was too far away for me to go solo, though I have happily gone solo to shows before. I wanted to see Squeeze last night, but that didn't work out the way I had hoped :sigh:

Also going to try and make it to Muse, Modest Mouse, White Stripes, Blaqk Audio, and Smashing Pumpkins in Sept/Oct.

Utah has not seen this many good acts come through at one time in quite awhile.

Concerts in the past:
18 February: Roger Waters, MMRDA Grounds, Mumbai (a great show and very nice to see so many Indians in to it)
10 March: The Waterboys, Vredenburg, Utrecht (again an excellent concert, even though it wasn't as good as the one last year. But from the first song on the band was ON!)
25 March: Shakira, MMRDA Grounds, Mumbai ( :combust: although the concert was quite short. Had a great time nonetheless.)
8 June: The Scene, Paradiso, Amsterdam (a bit of a nostalgia fest, but good to see the band back together again)
20 June: Lou Reed, Heineken Music Hall, Amsterdam (he performed Berlin in its entirety and after 35 years it's still very compelling)
23 June: The Frames, Tivoli, Utrecht (amazing and very intense  )

Concerts in the future:
11 August: Prince, O2 Arena, London
17 to 19 August: Lowlands Festival, Biddinghuizen
16 October: Crowded House, Carré, Amsterdam

This is going to be a great year of live performances!

:hi5: I'm seeing them on the 9th! :hyper:

It's made sweeter due to the fact that it's free and at a ridiculously small venue.

Not fair! I'm seeing them at a pretty small club as well, but definitely not free...
