Whoa, weird (we must all be on similar wavelengths), especially since that's actually the first time I'd listened to Set Yourself on Fire (and loved it).

How'd you like Big Echo?

Ok, that's even odder then

It was...ok. Really liked the first song, then it kind of melded into background music. Very pleasant background music. Liked it a hell of a lot more than Veck at any rate.

Yeah, there were few standout songs, but it was all very nice sounding to my ears. But, I cannot agree with the liking it better than Veckatimest; that album's my spring/summer soundtrack, along with Bitte Orca, and neither seems to get old.

Getting ready for the concert tomorrow (holy motherfucking shit, I'm incredibly psyched to see Shearwater live! :hyper: ):

Shearwater - The Golden Archipelago
Shearwater - Rook

...and then
Okkervil River - Live at Schubas (2004)

Four Tet - 'There Is Love In You'

Weird, I just listened to Rounds.

Also from today:
The Beatles - Rubber Soul
Broadcast - The Noise Made By People
The Depreciation Guild - Spirit Youth
Shearwater - The Golden Archipelago
Great Lake Swimmers - Ongiara

GET OUT OF MY MIND, SCUMBO!

(I can't get too mad when the telepathy is related to amazing music, though.)

Afro Butterfly - The Mellowest Trip
