some of my friends are addicted to it. I've always wanted to know, is it healthy or no? I remember I was watching a mythbusters thing and they had an episode about tanning booths and microwaves being able to boil the insides or something

I'm not sure if its any safer than the sun. But I do know people who have skin cancer from the actual sun and none from the bed.
I think it just depends on each person.

I don't think it is wise for younger people to do it too much.
I'm quite a bit older than you and I already spend a ton of money on my skin just to make up for the crap I did to it when I was younger.
