Hey U2ers,

I'm currently starting to work out in an attempt to get healthier and impress a specific someone, so I was wondering, what's a good U2 Playlist of songs for running/jogging? Include any remixes you think of as i'm looking for at least an hour long playlist.

Do You Feel Loved- I always get pumped up by that one
Mysterious Ways (Perfecto Mix)
Wire (Kevorkian Remix)
Even Better Than The Real Thing
Discotheque
Acrobat

Just a few suggestions. Those always never fail to get me pumped up, so that's just what I went by. So I'm not sure if they will work or not but it's worth a shot right?

Seems like a good start. I'm also thinking some of the lemon and discotheque mixes as well.

The live Pop Muzik - Mofo combo from PopMart Mexico.

Crazy Tonight live remix

Where the Streets Have No Name (PopMart version)

I Will Follow

Out of Control

Those are the U2 songs I have on my workout playlist.

honestly, the best songs for me are ones that set a pace and go for 7-8 minutes long (for running). I find Bad and Mercy for running really help me out.

for anything else....holy joe (garage mix) is great.

I guess my approach is a bit different...I tend to choose songs that I can immerse myself in and totally zone out of the fact that I'm running. Though I've got a ton of songs (all live) on my playlist, these are the ones that get me in the zone.

Until the end of the World (Live Slane 2001)
Bad (Live Boston 2001, perfect beat for running and the intensity!)
Sunday Bloody Sunday (Live Rattle and Hum)
With or Without You (Live Rattle and Hum, larrys drums give a perfect beat)
Crazy Tonight (Live)
Bullet the Blue Sky (Live ZooTV)
Last Night On Earth (Live Santiago)
Live versions from dvd releases of: Vertigo, Elevation, No Line on the Horizon, Ultraviolet (360 version), City of Blinding Lights, Streets

I don't like listening to music during my running, but my choice is:

First of all: Stuck In A Moment - I was thinking about this song when I was beating my personal best on 10 kilometers. "Don't say that later will be better" helped me so much.
Where The Streets Have No Name (the begining "I want to run" is just... :D)
Gloria
Tomorrow
I Will Follow
Sunday Bloody Sunday
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For

You'd better not listen to Numb during your workout - it can bring inverse results than you expect :hyper:

That's a long workout.

Great stuff guys! I usually run for about an hour and a half at a time, and run for about 3.77 miles or just over 6k.
