U2 Symphony to Raise Funds for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - Music Video/Cover "One"
World-class U2 tribute performers have joined together to form “U2 Symphony” which will collaborate with major symphony orchestras across the US to perform orchestral rock versions of iconic U2 songs. Members include Jason Thiesen (as Bono), Scott Jones (as Adam Clayton), Carl Macchia (as The Edge) and Steve Judd (as Larry Mullen, Jr.). Gary Gray is the band’s Musical Director and Orchestral Composer.
The project kicked off last week with a music video cover of “One” to help raise $50,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on behalf of Mary Sullivan, a pediatric cancer survivor. She has already raised more than $42,000 and we humbly ask for your support and donations to reach her $50,000 goal before June 30, 2014.
