There's a lot more you can do with Em...when I solo, I like to play low and open strings a lot too (think Neil Young), and Em is as low a pentatonic scale as you can go.

Plus, I loooooove harmonics, and in Em, there are 3 frets of 'em. :love:

Dm & Cm just sound more, i dunno melancholy?

tune down in drop D and you can use the open 6th string in Dm :sexywink:

I love tuning to Double Drop D sometimes and cranking up the overdrive & delay...sounds unreal.
