btw, so i got these dollars today.....thing is, smallest notes are tens! if i was to buy, lets say a coffee, and handed over a ten....am I likely to end up wearing said coffee?! Just, when I went to eastern Europe last year they'd shout "ouch" if I handed over large notes.

Nah, not a big deal. Most places are equipped to change bills up to, say, a $50 all the time. I'd only be worried if you had, like, a stack of C-notes ($100s) and nothing else. (Not bloody likely, I know, LOL. I can count on one hand the number of times I've had one of those in my possession!)
