When speaking of this song...is it
"The Electric Co"
or
"The Electric Company"
I always wanted to know.
(I say the first one btw)

Personally, unless we're talking about the studio version on Boy or a few live performances without the "somebody cry" verse at the start, I normally refer to it as The Cry/The Electric Co.

Definitely one of my favourite songs.

I can't verify the usage of the name, but I'm sure you won't be charged either way.

Actually the real name is Electric Co-Dependent. Listen to the lyrics...

I seem to remember Bono once introducing the song as "The Electric Company" when I saw them in Edinburgh in 1987 so it can come either way......

Yeah Id pay anything absolutely anything to hear the song live again hopefully on next tour! *prays very hard and hope for the best*

:D

Yes he introduced it as 'The Electric Company' in Cardiff in 87 too.

That's definately a song at the top of my tour comeback list! I really think it would work in 2005 too.

hmm. I say Electric Company just cause I'm conditioned to think company when I see Co. I don't know why I drop the "The" though. I guess I'm a discriminator. :p
