I work at a local campus/community radio station here in Winnipeg (www.umfm.com) and last week I came across an EP from a band called The Coast. I think alot of U2 fans would love these guys so here it is...check these guy's out...

Well, first impressions upon a brief sampling from their My Space page:

--nice, atmospheric, swirling, etheral sound, with the chiming guitars along the lines of Edge's sound or some BritPop bands like Catherine Wheel, Ride, maybe some James

--nice sound, nothing too original

--singer voice ok. lyrics & delivery sound a bit too earnest, over the top, but not horrendously so

I'll have to give them a further listen when I get have more time. Nice sounding stuff, not bad, but nothing we haven't heard before from our 4 masters.
