Wanted to add...Honestly it shouldn't be too hard to figure out why anyone might not want to justify certain votes.

I also voted for UF, though I honestly did not expect it to be kicked out this round. I do not share the sentiments of many here, especially Axver, about the UF era, its always ranked 11 in my list of U2 albums. I can't stand Bass Trap and 60 seconds. I've never been a fan of A Sort of Homecoming it drags on too long or MLK. Three sunrises and Love comes tumbling are songs with flashes of brilliance. In my opinion I feel like the B-sides here are throwaways and the only song I think of as excellent is the title track. I've always felt that UF was a stepping stone for U2, they drew the outline of where they wanted to go but they hadn't quite figured out how to get there. I know I will incur the wrath of Axver and many others, but its just my opinion.

And before that, UF made a very quick jump from 13 to 21. So my general impression for that round is one great big whopping and I'm glad we're into a new round which so far appears to have more normal voting patterns!

I'd bet that if the small, vocal group of people who can't handle others' opinions would put a sock in it, there would be a lot more discussion in here. I just don't get the need for personal name calling over different opinions. I'm a teacher and honestly I think my 9th grade students act a little more grown up/tolerant of what others have to say most of the time.

It's become truly obnoxious already.

I love UF - it's one of my favourites, but I'm coming very close to voting for it out of spite, and believe me, I know I'm not the only one.

Yep, Popheart for the next round. Besides the fact we need to protect UF, it really should go just because it's live material rather than something original. Seems the boot is also starting to be put into IGWSHA and SATS - and Pride, but that's another one I'd like to keep for a while! It would be agony if I had to vote for Pride to save UF. My top five singles, in order:

Well, I'm not surprised at all by the similarities! I'd probably rank AIWIY lower because it's just covers, but then again, they are sensational covers.

I still resent WLCTT being kicked off so early as that is another one of my favourites. Dancing Barefoot is plain incredible. The best studio cover U2 has ever done.
