Silent Souls

Cavernous hearts amidst sensitive souls,
Dispense gifts but never whore,
For their love is not of this earth,
Of that I can be sure,

As an echoed silence takes a hold,
Deep within the heart,
I’ve learned much more from silent souls,
That those whose strength departs,

When battles rage,
Their breath flees,
Upon a wayward dove,
Tearing words asunder,
As words are not enough.

To articulate the love I hold,
For my sisters of the night,
My brothers scorn the morn of God,
Yet no man yields the right,

To judge amidst the cavernous hearts,
To condemn the silent souls,
Who taught me how to love once more,
And to heed the hearts of those,

Righteous men with Gods own love,
Dispense gifts but never whore,

Of that I can be sure,

Pretty girls.

There's an element of unpredictability as to when I feel the need to write. Most of what I do write however forms out of one or two lines that essentially "pop" into my mind. Of course what I'm thinking about is related to what I'm doing and experiencing at the time. I can’t force myself into writing you either stumble across inspiration or you don’t.

its the same way here..cant force myself...and most of the times you start with one or two lines..build upon it....sometimes i overbuild and then refine
