I also remember someone saying that at Soldier Field they are not too happy with tailgating at games so the chances of them being happy with a mini tent city would seem to be low

wristbands would seem like an idea they might like

Bruce  did it and it was good

agreed! it is just an inordinate amount of stress. once this is done we can wait and start to really stress out a few weeks in advance. not to mention the day of!

We are going to need that time in between to recuperate before we start stressing out all over again . In the end it's all worth it though when our guys are up on that stage

Good luck to everyone who is going for the 2nd Chicago show! Is it tomorrow morning yet?

Ok. I need some help. I have GA for Sat's show and am going to get GA's for Sunday's 2nd show... Can't decide on what to do regarding the hotel. I figure I'll get there on Friday and probably spend the night in line Friday night, no hotel needed. I'm tempted to not get one Sat either and leave the show and get right back in line and sleep there Sat night as well. My question is about parking. Does anyone know if there would be somewhere reasonably close (maybe a mile) that I'd be able to part both nights? - - - that way I could park and walk to Soldier Field as needed. Thoughts? Thanks all!!

Soldier Field

I emailed the people at Soldier Field and they were pretty direct and to the point about people not being allowed to camp out because it is owned by the Chicago Park District. Feel free to email them. You will get the same reply. As far as camping out there? They said that police would escort us off the premise if we got there before 6:00a.m. in the morning. So, I don't know of any other arena that acted like this. Although, during Pop Mart, I do remember that there were multiple entrances and not just one line. So the idea of a line leader might not fly for this show......looks like it's everyone for themselves. I have some friends that are Chicago cops and I am going to get some scoop from them.
peace,
uf

Ya, ya, ya

if there's one thing you should learn its DON'T mess with CHICAGO COPS, they'll toss you in the paddy wagon in a heartbeat. They don't put up with crap from nobody. if you don't believe me head down rush street on a weekend.
Yes. I pretty much live here and I have many cop friends. They aren't bad unless you are a jerk. Believe me....no one will be tossed in a paddy wagon ......lol You are too funny!
And, I did rush street in the 80/s when I was in college. YA!!!! If you are drunk and acting like an asshole, then you deserve to be thrown in a wagon.

cute,
uf

anyone have their Chicago presale tix? my NYC arrived today. TM says that Chicago is still processing.

Didn't they say the same thing about the Deadheads but then allowed them to camp while charging 10$ a car?

I got mine yesterday... :)

Soldier Field is a generally open area. Hopefully the weather will be nice... if we aren't allowed to camp there earlier than 6am, then I guess I'll be taking a stroll and watching the sunrise over Lake Michigan. I think I'll make it on time.. :hmm:

You know, these random extra concert dates are really pissing me off. If I knew there'd be a Chicago 2 for sure, I would have gone 50/50 on my presale code and bought 2 GAs for the first show and 2 seats for the second.

Who here lives in Chicago or its suburbs and plans on attending one of two shows? Just wondering cause I was born and raised here.

Now that Chicago 1 is sold out, I'm curious to find out how many GA's were sold. I got mine in the Horizon presale and had a 600 number on mine. So I'm wondering if TM numbered all the GA's up through 10,000?

Just curious?

I'm sure someone has more info on this than me.
I believe GA tickets have G1, G2, G3, etc. and then are numbered through the hundreds (001-999). So, if we knew how many "Gs" there are, and approximately the number range, we could multiply it out.

Mine are G2 in the mid-500s

Me too :reject:

I tried using "bears" as a code today and it doesn't work for the second show.

Awww hope your's come soon  When I just checked they said they had been printed and shipped. Hopefully this is the same for you too :).

Hmmm wonder if they changed "bears" to a different code for the 2nd show. Would be surprised if they didn't offer a presale to this one.

Has anyone been able to print there tickets from ticket master? I keep getting the message

Ticket delivery for this event will be delayed and should be available within 24 hours.

I have gotten that message for the past week:banghead:

my Chicago 1 GAs were finally shipped to me today. almost a week after NY1. wooo.
