I had tickets for Bowie on the Serious Moonlight tour, but I was too sick to go. It stills breaks my heart, even $#@#% years later.

Bowie is def my biggest white whale. I was in Europe when he toured for Reality and missed it.
I haven't seen Lou Reed either but at this point I'm not sure he'd put on a great show.
Not exactly a great period for him.

Don't care. It was my one shot, and I missed it.
How was that your one shot? He toured a good number of times post-Let's Dance.
I saw that him on that tour at MSG. I loved it.

And tomorrow night is Jonathan Richman!
I still remember being babysat while my parents went to the Glass Spider tour. My Mom used her thick Scottish accent to fib to the security guard about how far she had traveled for the show and wound up in the front row....
And The Modern Lovers??
leave it alone, Laz
I saw the Glass Spider Tour.Didn't charm my way to the front with my "Scottish accent" though
Was hoping you'd pop up in here . Yeah, cobl, if you need any more help regarding Elvis Costello, go to this guy. He is the expert .
Don't say that too loud. I already lost one reputation as I had to confess I'm not really knowledgeable in one music genre. Before you know it there are even more disappointments.
