Would anyone be up for emailing or texting me when the WASTE presale begins tomorrow in case I don't see it right away? I'll be pretty busy all day and won't be at the computer checking waste every 20 minutes.

Anyone? Eh?

Will WASTE be sending me an e-mail advising me of the pre-sale time for Montreal and Toronto? I'd like to go to both shows! :hyper:

no.. they don't give out that info.. I would keep checking atease message boards for any hints that's about the best strategy. The last presale was a couple minutes before 9am on the presale date given by them. I doubt they will do this same time frame again. I remember people at atease basically staying up all nite refreshing the waste ticket sales page. I didn't do that but I did get up at 5am and did that for a bit until the time they went on sale.

My buddy's been throwing these rave parties at his house, hopefully I can persuade him to play some of their tracks next time around.

Pearl's Girl blows my mind 7 ways to Sunday.

 Pearl's Girl is many peoples favorite. I remember playing that song at parties over and over in college.

"Beacoup Fish" is their best album. Start to finish it is just amazing! And I posted this earlier, but I'll just throw them back out there, here's a sampling of some great Underworld tracks:

"Push Upstairs"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogTWQSLuX9s

"2 Months Off"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_bGZ4ohjDE

"Dark And Long (Dark Train)" [also used in the "Trainspotting" film]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxeN56g2U3k

"Rez"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0oMwKnU3OM

and two of my all-time favorite songs ever:

"Cherry Pie"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0i5OOBMNlJI

"Spikee"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAIOVxi-RN0

I go back and forth between Beaucoup and Second Toughest.

My favorites on the former are Cups and Jumbo.

2 Months off is a GREAT song off a decent but spotty album. I think the new one is a bit of an improvement.

I agree with most of that , Laz. "A Hundred Days Off" is a bit spotty, but I do love "Twist", "2 Months Off", "Sola Sistem", and "Leutin". And "Mo' Move" is pretty damn good too.

"Second Toughest In The Infants" is probably my 2nd fav, right behind "Beacoup Fish". Banstyle/Sappy's Curry is probably my FAVORITE chill-out, electronic tune ever! I remember this really cool BBQ we had in college at someone's apartment overlooking the beach, and I played Banstyle/Sappy's Curry as we BBQ'd carne asada and drank Corona. It's one of my favorite college memories.

The new one is pretty good too. I like "Faxed Invitation" and "Beautiful Burnout" a lot.

Underworld are just my favorite because they have so much depth to them. They're so much more than just club hits or rave songs. Their albums actually have substance and variety.

I can't wait to see Underworld into Radiohead at All Points West. It's going to be so f***n' great!!!!

Hey, have you heard the Riverrun series they did, right before Oblivion With Bells was released? Some of those are really awesome!

Heads-up for the Toronto people...at least one person speculating on the sale time tomorrow, based on their previous experience:

Thanks to a massive family get together on the 16th, I might have to duck out and go with Montreal or Vancouver.

I have a question that's probably been asked a billion and one times before: How do WASTE seats usually compare to ticketmaster's?

Unfortunately, I wasn't friends with anyone who liked Underworld enough to have a cool moment like that. But the image is perfect. The first two tracks take up a half hour alone, and are as good as the genre has to offer. Agreed on their importance, also, they never get enough credit in my opinion.

I'm not familiar with Riverrun, is that the download-only stuff?

Tour tickets on the left or tour dates on the right.

I was going to text you, but I'll do it here. Call me when the tickets go on sale. Anytime. If I'm still here, I'll throw on some pants and come down here to get some LA tickets! :)

I'm going to get some dinner. I'll check back after that.

If I get pit tickets to a show and sell them on eBay, I can conceivably pay for my entire Lollapalooza trip.

This is an interesting idea.

still waiting for my confirmation of my In Rainbows download order, ftw.

I got through to the select-how-many-tickets-you-want screen and added them to my basket, only to have it crash.

How is everyone even getting into the damn site!!!!

(But, I'm actually happy for you Joyful. That's awesome! )

LUCK. I think I got in right at the moment they went on sale, despite the fact that I was casually flat-ironing my hair and waiting to hear the Mozilla page checker update alert, which never happened. Don't trust that damn thing for ticket sales.

What time did they go on sale? I checked about 6:14.

The ONLY reason I'm not completely ticked off right now is that I'm already seeing them 2 nights at All Points West, so I can't complain too much if I don't get these tickets.

Right around that time. I got thru at 7:12 (6:12 your time). I didn't trust the page update checker so I refreshed and was horrified to see they were onsale, not knowing how long they'd been onsale. Then I got thru almost right away. It could be the SB market was just easier.

Actually I'm not sure when I got thru now that I think about it because my computer clock is wrong. I see I called martha at 7:23 so I'm all confused.
