That is beautiful, how much land surrounds the house? It's so different seeing scenery like that where here in California the homes are practically built on top of one another with fences marking off front and back yards.

Sunset tonight from the Berkeley Marina:

It's hard to tell from the picture, but the house is on top of a smallish round hill, then there is a creek bottom, all the land you see (and some you don't see!) to the right of the road, then a bunch to the left of the house around the hill. I can't remember how many acres. Sigh . . . .

Dieman, you have some amazing talent.

You wouldn't happen to have any Tahoe shots would you?

Not too many. I've got a few of Eagle Falls and Emerald Bay. I need to do some snowshoeing and get some good winter shots. Here are a couple:

Very nice, I'm headed out there in a few weeks for some skiing and will be taking a ton of pictures, but probably no where near as good as yours. :)

Crabtree Falls, Nelson County, Virginia

There are four different falls as the stream makes its way down the mountain. This was taken during a dry summer--not much water in the falls.

I love that last picture from MsPurrl - I love lush green scenery like that.

Loved those Bosnian pictures as well - beautiful!

Found these in my Photobucket account. They were taken by my uncle back home in South Africa:

Great pics, everyone. I'm going to work my way up to rappelling one day...actually, I might have to do this in about an hour, out of the window of my apartment! Just had an awesome snowstorm here. South Africa looks pretty tranquil right about now, GG.

Well I cant compete with any of these pics at all

But this was the view from our hotel this weekend in Summerlin / Vegas.

The mound of snow outside our apartment is three times my height. :scream: I want Newfoundland to look like this again:

Just got back from my week long trip up through Oregon and Washington. I spent a few days out on the Olympic peninsula, and a few cool places in Oregon as well. I took a ton of pics, and I've just barely started processing them, but here are a few favorites.

My backyard this past weekend, lol:

It's actually worse than it looks. The back 3/4 of the yard is angle deep sludge. That green stuff is not grass.

And now a few of my favorite spring-like photos to get over the dreariness of this winter (we've had a record long, record snowfall, record cloudy winter):
