This sounds a whole step lower than the album.

Bono should have no trouble hitting the chorus.

Yeah, that high note at the end would be the highest note in the chorus in whatever tuning that is , so he should be fine there.

Larry. Not on board.

I was walking in that exact spot in Coal Harbour earlier this afternoon. Judging by cloud cover I must have just missed him

Nope, rehearsed in 87. Tennessee I believe.

I don't understand. What exactly are you disagreeing with?

I just said it was a step lower than the album version.

So instead of Bono hitting high C's, he'll be hitting high A#s.

That's if I'm right. We'll see if someone else that knows how to play Red Hill can confirm it.

Oh, whether it was the first time reheasered or played.

Yep. I just checked, When he sings "lights" it is an A#,

It is one whole step lower.

Miryclay,
Sorry, I understand what you meant now. He certainly could sing it back then. Always could.
"Bad" has higher notes and is arguably harder to sing if done properly. I don't get it.

According to a friend who works for the company doing the video production for this tour (texted him during dinner) this was scheduled as a production rehearsal.

So it's likely everything played tonight will be in the setlist.

Definitely new. Not sure what to make of it yet, but this certainly seems a good sign of:
1. Them playing something new this tour
2. Their confidence in the material
3. Their confidence in the ability to release SOMETHING in short order

Possibly, let's hope so!
Or they were just dicking around and improvised it. I can't get a good listen of it at the moment. Are any lyrics decipherable?

No lyrics, but it seems to be a thoughtfully arranged piece - that is, parts for each instrument are clear, seems to be a possible backing track as well as bass, drums, guitar, and melody doesn't sound like a Bono scat session.

Hopefully the person who posted this has the new song. Audio is a lot clearer!

Surely more clips will surface by tomorrow nights rehearsal

Will they rehearse at BC place every day? Will Bono tax his voice every day like that?

Technically today's rehearsal began in the late afternoon ;)

In Gods Country - with lights - mostly orange
