435 coffees for me, please!
Coming right up!
435 coffees for me, please!
I'm the only person in my department who doesn't watch The Office. I tried for a few episodes of season 1, but I just never found it funny. At all. I've managed to keep that fact well hidden, because they'd probably shun me if they knew I didn't watch it.
435 coffees for me, please!
I went for about a week without turning on the TV except to watch a movie on DVR or DVD, which I kept separate from "watching TV" or "TV as background noise."
That went well.
Now, if only I could do that with my computer.
Sorry i'm in & out
On my U2 come down now
Photobucket isn't playing tonight
I just spilled a margarita all over a table.
Oops!
Even back when I had roommates, I still always had the TV/computer going. I find it easier to justify my slothfulness and hibernation in the fall/winter months, as there's no way in hell I'm going outside to do stuff. In the summer I try to be outside as much as possible, but it doesn't always happen.
I keep meaning to do more with friends and stuff, but it never happens. A group of friends I used to hang out with all the time is re-instating game night starting soon, so that will be fun to hang out with them again.
Ha! I do okay with my phone. I'm not attached to it, but probably because I don't get a lot of texts. Unless I'm traveling for U2 concerts, in which case my phone explodes with texts and I freak out because I can't keep up or keep them straight.

What's this getting out thing you speak of?
It's just as bad out there though, with smartphones and texting. It's like everyone I see when I'm out has a phone glued to their hand. At least I'm not that bad. Yet.
Remember back in the late 90s when everyone was all "oooh, beware internet addiction!" Um, yeah. That went well for society.
DG, did you spill it on people?

But...it's too hot in the summer! :whines:
Game night sounds fun.
Okay, I'm about to put down my computer (GASP ) and go do part 2 of my pre-drinking tasks.
Talk to you all later. With a drink. And with leather Bono on my tv.
Group PGP pic with eyepatches in front of a vending machine? Methinks that is a fabulous idea.
Sorry i fell asleep , had a takeaway and just looking through my pics
Some crap ones , and some ones
I was sooooooooooooooooooooooo lucky with the setlists , i cried last night when they started playing Bad as that is my all time favourite live track
Hi Wild!
I got to see Kristen today! She told me that pics would be posted soon!
We have another crappy day here! Lovely!
I've barely been here all week. Need to spend some quality time in the 360 photo thread this weekend.
At the Jays game - the roof is opening It's quieter on the inside than the outside

I didn't have a TV for the past 3 years I spent in Orlando. It used to drive my coworkers crazy, almost every day someone would say "Oooh, did you see... last night?" and I'd have to remind them that I was TV-less.
We have a TV and a bazillion channels. But we watch MSNBC, PBSKids and Palladia. And that's pretty much it. The occasional episode of Law and Order or Rescue Me.
Unless it's summer. I LOVE all the USA original shows - Psyche, Burn Notice and Royal Pains (even though that show is TERRIBLY written).
