Week 8 for OOTS

Is there an update from billboard? Should be at 38 to 40 on Adult Top 40.
Still no OOTS on Billboard. It's close, though, but it's not gaining airplay on any format right now except for AAA Rock and maybe Mainstream Rock. The best indicator of airplay, Radio and Records, looks like this for the current week:
Hot AC Top 40
OOTS up 1 to 38 but w/no increase in plays
AAA Rock Top 30
OOTS up 1 to 7 with a bullet
Mediaguide also has OOTS at 7 this week on AAA Rock, and it comes in at 37 on the Mainstream Rock Top 40 (R&R only shows Top 30) with a bullet.
mediabase.com, which is real time but only shows the Top 20 or so w/o a suscription, also shows OOTS moving up to 7 on Triple A Rock, and the details of this chart show that OOTS is again gaining momentum on this chart after stalling at #8 for several weeks it seems.
On VH1, the video is up 1 spot this week to 12 in what I think is it's 2nd week on the chart.
Overall, the song has been relegated to the usual U2 radio formats. It's only 12 plays out of #4 on the Triple A chart, and it's on the playlist of 24 out of 27 stations monitored by mediabase in major markets. It's stalled out on Adult Top 40 and Mainstream Rock this week. Perhaps a killer performance of OOTS at the Grammies (if they perform?) as well as some big awards will be enough to get the song jumpstarted on U.S. radio. Of course, if they pushed the single version a bit as a download and made it a feature/free song of the week on i-tunes...what's the point of even going there.
Oddly, on a local station called "Electric 94", which is the classic Hot 100 mainstream radio format, OOTS is in high rotation and I've heard it several times just in the last week or so. I have not had the time to check through the playlists of the "Pop" stations monitored by R&R, but maybe OOTS is enough of a Pop song to cross over. Time will tell.
