One thing I've noticed about the last two albums is that there's no sex in the music. Not just lyrically, but also musically. There's none of that U2 erotica that was prevailent on certain tracks ranging from UF thru POP.
Even BOY and WAR had its moments (An Cat Dubh, Two Hearts)
And October (Gloria maybe???)
On ATYCLB the closest thing to a sexual vibe is "In A Little While". It's got Bono's passionate soulful delivery and a sensual rhythm section...and "Wild Honey" could pass for slightly sexual.
On the new album there's virtually nothing that could be considered sexual. If "A Man And A Woman" gets u in the mood, well then that's ure problem.
Anyway, it's just an observation I've made. What do you think?
