For your own good.
Now.
I have music on. And am carrying on a conversation with a mutual friend.
I SWEAR!!!!!

I think you're a little naive of their impact. I'm going to chalk this up with some of your other far fetched out of touch arguments.
Just....slowly.......walk away from the computer.....that's it....thaaaaaaaaat's it......good.......oooh, look, some chocolate.....go grab that chocolate.......good........now look at that comfy couch....good, nice couch.......sit down now.....well done Cori!.......isn't that relaxing???.......
Do you seriously think if labels were to miraculously shut down every torrent site in the world tomorrow, album sales would somehow double or show a significant upswing in the next year or two?
How drastic changes have major labels done to keep customers happy in the new post-napster world?
Does the porn world complain about their fans massive ring of torrent sites?
ohmygodwhyareyouarguingaboutthis
I don't care to argue any of this, it's not the thread for it...
All I know is that CD sales in general are lower and tour sales have not been effected equally, your original comment that I first commented on doesn't seem to reflect this understanding. Period.
It's not weird that more people want to spend nearly $300 for a 1 time concert than spend $10-15 for a cd of new music from the same band that you can keep for the rest of your life?
maybe a "how long have you gone without listening to the full Horizon album" thread would be a good idea. I'm at 18 months and I wonder if I'm alone.
