Well, I guess I might as well enjoy my last remaining vestiges of Catholicism while it lasts. Chances are, I will find nothing to like about this new guy, since "inclusiveness" hasn't been in the Catholic vocabulary lately. The new fad is "purity of doctrine."
The election of Pope John Paul II took eight ballots. I think it was a total of three days of balloting. Yes, indeed, there's white smoke and the bells are ringing but they haven't announced who it is. Ah, the suspense.........I'm going to turn on the news.
