I've just read on @u2 that the release of the deluxe edition has been delayed due to production problems and won't be issued now until towards of the year. Looks as if the standard version should still be released by the end of the month though -lets keep fingers crossed.

That may be the reason play.com cancelled my deluxe order last week ... "Unavailable" it says now .

Someone made a mistake and send me the book before the release date

The book is in a bigger format than I had thought. I haven't had time to read anything but I can tell you that it's full of cool pictures including some from their childhood

All I want to know is if the book bash Pop album and Popmart tour or not and if there are cheap statements like "ATYCLB is out third masterpiece", "HTDAAB is our best album", etc, etc

If the book is plenty of that sort of stuff I won't buy it but if the book don't bash Pop and Zooropa and overrate ATYCLB and HTDAAB will be fantastic

Amazon only charges when they ship a product (my experience), so they would simply cancel the order, assuming this rumor is true.

^^^ I know...but Barnes and Nobel called me and said that the paperback is going to be delivered this coming Tues....I'll still get the book but I pre ordered tha Deluxe will have to wait and see
