Sicy what shadow is that?

Btw, my manager gave me a belated birthday prez in the form of a Sephora gift card

I finally bought Lash Blast last weekend, and I love it. It's the best mascara I've ever used and it's cheap! I also bought the new Revlon Beyond Natural foundation. It really gives great coverage, but it looks like you're not wearing any. It goes on white and then adjusts to your skin tone. It's great.

Ladies, I need some advise. I have a skin condition called Rosea. It causes redness on my cheeks, even in the wintertime. Can you tell me of a good foundation or concealer that would look natural? Like my Irish ancestors, I am fair skinned.

Ohhh my cheeks are red too.. I wonder if that's what I have
I use the Bare Escentuals and it seems to cover up my redness well.

I usually don't like to use pencil liner, but I picked up a couple Urban Decay 24/7 pencils that you all have been raving about. They are wonderful and they have some awesome colours.

But they don't come off!

I know!!! That was my only complaint. I look like a raccoon in the morning

I was testing like 4-5 colours at Sephora and came home with my hand striped and I swear I had to scrub at it with dish detergent! Unreal.

Yeah, I like using dark shadow for liner the best as well. The famous makeup artist who came up with the NARS line said that is by far and away the best look to get. I figure he knows what he speaks of!

LMPA, what company's liner brush are you using? I have a MAC one and I'm looking to get a new one (I got it as part of a pack and it's the mini one so it's really short and that bugs me).

I've been using Almay and Prestige for eyeliner. I also have a Stila liner from Sephora. For removing make-up, I've recently began using the Neutrogena wipes, and they are perfect! No oily mess, comes right off and I sound like a commercial.

My daughter is a VERY fair skinned redhead and she used to have redness on her cheeks too. The Bare Minerals powder was AMAZING at covering the red and looking completely natural (and it's good for your skin). It's the one that comes in all the different foundation colors, NOT the "mineral veil", which isn't good for your skin.

Not only is it easy, but it doesn't give you the horrible smudges.

Really? I must not be doing it right. Every time i try the shadow ends up under my eyes in a few hours. :(

I use liquid eyeliner pretty exclusively. My sister has one of those sets that turns any eyeshadow into liquid eyeliner. I think it's by Urban Decay.

Not really make up, but it's skin related...

I just got the Dermalogica face wash (Special Cleansing Gel) and moisturiser (Skin Smoothing Gel) and oooh it's lovely. My skin has a tendency to be a bit rubbish - dry, but with big honking spots like I'm a teenager, instead of 31. But this stuff is great, really calms my skin and makes it feel lovely.

It's pretty pricey, about £35 for each (ouch!) although I found it online for a total of £50 for both. Yes, it's dear, but worth it for the benefit to my skin and not having to stress so much about spots any more

:applaud:

I have to go to Sephora to get some Bare Escentuals foundation. Does anyone use it? They started carrying NUDE products too, so I'm thinking of getting the facial wash and cleansing water toner.

I haven't tried Bare Escentuals, but Nude is awesome. They haven't started carrying at the Canadian Sephoras yet  So enjoy that..

My daughter uses the Bare Minerals face powder/foundation. It is AMAZING, no lie. It was recommended to us by a skin care specialist and dermatologist because it doesn't hurt your skin. It looks very natural on. Just don't get the mineral veil, as that does have ingredients that can cause break outs, but the regular powder that comes in all the different shades is

Thanks! It looks really good on my friend. I think I'm going to get it when I hit up Sephora in a few weeks.

ok ladies---without going back through 24 pages, please help  I dropped my almost-gone blush today and now there's a mess on the rug. anyway, I'm not partial to any brand of blush...any suggestions?

I definately recommend Nars or Stila both are at Sephora

I also use Bare Escentuals foundation, mineral veil and warmth for blush.

Since posting here last, I've gone makeup crazy. I'm wearing either eyeliner, eyeshadow or both everytime I leave the house, and I've recently started wearing lipstick! I have two sticks: Attitude by Sephora and Laetitia's Champagne by L'Oreal. I haven't decided on wearing foundation, blush and such yet. I don't want to overdo anything, but curiosity may just get the worst of me!

Go for it I'm a make up junkie myself!
