Looking Days

Human frailties are at their most weak
when love doesnt reside.
I feel the weight of my emptiness
when there's no love to hide,

I've walked the world over
Looked low and above
The couple walks within each other
why can't I be the one to love.

Out of step with the rest,
Im pushing my hand through my chest
Days are occupied with time and thought
Nights are a battle already fought.

With so much inside
and with no one to give
this fire within
won't let me live.
