This is an actual song my incredibly talented younger sister wrote and had recorded for a local charity album a few years back (I think 2 years ago). I just bothered to actually write down the words now, but I really like it. Here's a link to the page that has the mp3 of the actual song. My sister's got an amazing voice (as I'm sure you'll agree), plus she can play guitar better than I can (damn her!

That's ok, I've got piano over her

). Anyway, here's the text, but go listen to the mp3 too!

Letting Go

I'm not sure how to do this
I don't know what to say
I've never been here before
But I don't think I should stay

So I'll make molehills out of mountains
To make this easier on you
'Cause I know you'd take it all back
If that's what you could do

Your heart will feel lonely
Your eyes will fill with tears
Let the memories uphold you
Let the future calm your fears

Blessings come in different ways
Though it's hard to see
Will you let me be a part of you?
Cause you'll always be a part of me

I spend so much time searching
For ways to make you change
Someone or something to turn to
Or just to somewhere to put the blame

And all I came to realize
Is there's no sense to even try
No longer searching for answers
But for the way to say goodbye

And your heart will feel lonely
Your eyes may fill with tears
Let the memories uphold you
Let the future calm your fears

Blessings come in different ways
Though it's hard to see
Will you let me be a part of you?
Cause you'll always be a part of me

Remember nothing's ever lost
It makes you who you are
So take all of me with you
And you will go far

Maybe I'm too young
To keep good love from going wrong
But tonight
You're on my mind
So you never know

..your sister has a lovely voice Dieman, I also really love her finger picking style too..I appreciate anyone who can get something out of an acoustic guitar..this from someone who doesn't venture from his electric because he sucks at acoustic

Ok, I'm making it a requirement to listen to the mp3 too. It's just not the same if you don't hear the song.

Go here and listen to the song!!
