Actually, I've heard good things about Big Star. Recommend an album?

Definitely check out their last album Third/Sister Lovers, as it would suit your tastes. It's a mindfuck of a record, while their first two is more or less good time '70s rock n' roll. I swear, their singer must have lost his mind while he was putting that together.

Oh joy!

when you're there, i sleep lengthwise
and when you're gone, i sleep diagonal in my bed

Hey, Ax. Would you believe they once opened a show with a ten minute REGGAE version of that?

I think my Pink Floyd top 10 would shape up as follows:

1. Wish You Were Here
2. Speak To Me/Breathe
3. Comfortably Numb
4. Fearless
5. Summer '68
6. Goodbye Blue Sky
7. Dogs
8. Cymbaline
9. Time
10. Remember A Day

Khan's Pink Floyd top 10:

1-10. Anything not by Pink Floyd
