i found this whie browsing around the web today....

"U2 FANS WAIT IN HOPE" The Sun Herald reports in today's paper that "the word on the street is U2 are planning to perform in Australia sometime towards the end of next year, as part of a global tour promoting their new album.
It also states that the band are expected to include Australian dates in their new tour, after playing the US, Britain and Asia.

i wait till next year either way!
