The last two weeks I was thinking around to which restaurants to go when I?m in Vegas, so that kinda qualifies me (bonosgirl84, are you there? Do Tell!).
You might try the Hard Rock hotel for fun, there are three Restaurants there, A.J.s Steak House (curved leather booths, grand piano, $$$$), Hard Rock Cafe (music and videos plus rocknroll memorabilia, $$) and Pink Taco (mexican, + Tequila Bar, $$). There?s a good club called Baby?s, accessible from the hotel, and you might want to have fun at the bar of the pool throughout the day.
Another nice possibility might be the Kokomo?s/ The Mirage Hotel. Specializing in steaks and sea food, this exotic restaurant is situated within a tropical rain forest. Guests dine in the open air environment surrounded by waterfalls and a lagoon. ($$$$)
If your boss likes sport, you might go for the ESPN Zone/ New York New York Hotel, where you can have fun in the sports-themed eatery. Ribs, garden salads and chocolate desserts can be enjoyed while watching your fav sports on two 14-foot-screens and 140 TV monitors throughout the facility (including the bathrooms - $$).
Or what about the House of Blues at the Mandalay Bay Hotel? Featuring live music, unique regional and international cuisine and the best in contemporary folk art (Gospel Brunch on Sunday, 10 am and 1 pm, $$).
If you would like to have good wine with your dinner, try the Aliz?, a french restaurant situated at the Palms Casino Resort. Being a gourmet restaurant with innovative menu, Aliz? features breathtaking views of The Strip and a two-story, glass wine cellar containing 6,000 bottles of wine from all over the world and an extensive collection of port, Armangnac and Cognac dating back to 1777 ($$$$).
More fun may be found at the Buccaneer Bay Restaurant/ Treasure Island Hotel. You can experience a pirate battle which wages outside from the window of this eatery, Menu includes Cornish game hen, Chilean sea bass or shrimp scampi ($$$$).
Le Provencal at the Paris Hotel features dishes as creamy lobster bisque and a selection of pastas, plus singing servers set in a rustic french country atmosphere ($$$).
Italian? Your boss likes italian food? Fine. Try the Osteria del Circo at the Bellagio Hotel, where your dinig experiance is enhanced by the amusing ambiance resembling a festive circus. Whimsical and vibrant, this Osteria features homestyle Tuscan cuisine ($$$$).
Or maybe you prefer the olio!, at the MGM Grand Hotel. The best of Neo Italian cuisine served in a stylishly decorated room that features an oversized fireplace. Pasta, seafood dishes, pizzas and - this sounds great - a 40-foot-long antipasto table. Order ice cream from a frozen gelato wall ($$$).
Belly dancers? Time for belly dancers. You can find them at the Marrakech (3900 Paradise Rd., 702-737-5611), where they provide entertainment throughout the night, while you enjoy a tasty Moroccan meal. The speciality is a six course meal that features sauted shrimp scampi, shish kebab made with marinated lamb, Cornish hen in a light lemon sauce and Moroccan mint tea ($$$$).
So - its up to you to decide, nbcrusader. Hope you find the right place, those are the decriptions I could get.
Have a great time!
