I just made root beer float ones last week, they were a hit with everyone who tried them.
Oh, do tell! What goes into a root beer float cupcake?
A few blocks from my house. We enjoyed Pretty in Pink: Sweet strawberry cupcake with real strawberry packed cream cheese icing tonight.
Schmeg, where in Indy is that? Is it close to anything I might know? I don't get down there much.
Head to Magnolia Bakery in the west village
Do you bite the bottom first so that you get a bigger frosting-to-cake ratio for the next bite?

I've never had a cupcake from a cupcake store.
I've never had a cupcake.
I was VERY disappointed by those cupcakes. Definitely all hype!

Cupcakes.
The hard part is when you get one that's too tall to bite both frosting AND cake at the same time. Do you bite the bottom first so that you get a bigger frosting-to-cake ratio for the next bite? Or do you satisfy your immediate needs and go for the frosting off the bat? I usually choose the former.
That sucks. I have some of their baking books. They are on my never ending list of bakeries to visit during travels.
I would send you one, but by the time it got to you, it would be a better paper weight than an edible item.
Cupcakes are delicious.
What's people's preference re: oil vs butter in their cakes? The difference being primarily moistness vs fluffiness. Do you like a bigger squoogier cake, or a smaller more succulent cake?
