Yeah I'd thought of that. Guess little kids aren't too creative in their insults.

I don't like Kyle, Ryan, Jessica or Ashley because they're so common.

I was trawling my yearbook and I found these gems:

Dominick
Brandin
Brenden
Braden
Reece
Dylanna
Daelynn
Michiel
Kalym
Kaytlyn
Jacolyn
Kelvin (cue temperature jokes)
Kade
Natan (forgot a letter?)
Latasha
Terren
Royce
Jorrey
Katana (win)
Jalina
Chelbie

I also noticed Madison and Samantha are quite common.

What? I'm not insulted. Or attempting to wind you up.

Don't know why I bother with the internet sometimes, or communication in general.

I mean to say that anyone named after a place would indeed be teased by peers in their younger days. Little kids look for any joke they can make on someone's name...jokes like 'I live in so-and-so' would be so obvious and would be on every kid's tongue. Too easy to make fun of, not a good time for the kid with the odd name.

This stupid Facebook obsession crap is ruining kids futures before they even get a Facebook. I could come up with a million things for this already.

'Like Likes This' "Like, why do you have to like him so much?"
"Like, do you like him or do you like, like him?"

I'm going to hell. :D

^ yeah, don't leave us hanging err . . . what she said

I have to out myself for this one . . . was watching :shifty: ACA  last night and there was some story about kids now having back problems not normally seen until adulthood thanks to the great lust for mobile technology and the requisite hunching that is par for the course when hours are spent on lap tops etc . . . I kid you not one of the cashed up princesses was named "Rique Sharman" . . . I wasn't paying enough attention at the beginning (it was ACA after all :giggle: ) but I'm assuming this is some new way of spelling Ricky? :sigh:

Fun thread. Living in Miami I've got some doozies to add to this:

Marielsa
Mariestrella (Estrella is star in Spanish)
Jinxi (I guess that's how you spell it)
Marisleysis
Yunier (way to pronounce Junior there, champ)
Yorniel :)yuck:)
O'Neal (r u srs)

At this point I should add that I know each one of these people listed above. The ones below are patients/clients

past patients that I remember:
Supreme Systems (he was from Puerto Rico)
Usnavy (U.S. Navy)
Usmail (U.S. Mail)

and the ones currently in my production queue include:
Colten
Hoyt
Nayeli
Cohen
McKenny
Roswitha
Osviel
Anachell
Sabastean (wtf)
Kollin
Easton
Talen
Yeilah
Cassin
Haithcock
Lyric
Warrent

^:hi5:

Easton is pretty credible. "Here are my twin sons, Easton, and Weston."

People around where I live have relatively normal names from what I've seen, but there are people with names that make you look twice.

Examples: Shawnson - Nubert

My youngest sisters name keandra! I thought it was cute and unique! Hate it when people call he kiwi though :/

I've had students with the following names:

Hamburger
Vanilla Ice
Red Sea
Retina
V-3
Frita
Al Pacino (that is his first name)
Persen (pronounced person)
Dearly
