I mean to say that anyone named after a place would indeed be teased by peers in their younger days. Little kids look for any joke they can make on someone's name...jokes like 'I live in so-and-so' would be so obvious and would be on every kid's tongue. Too easy to make fun of, not a good time for the kid with the odd name.

I have to out myself for this one . . . was watching ACA last night and there was some story about kids now having back problems not normally seen until adulthood thanks to the great lust for mobile technology and the requisite hunching that is par for the course when hours are spent on lap tops etc . . .
